Who is behind Artifact4U, what we publish, and the principles that guide our work.

Artifact4U is an independent publishing and software project created by Stu Chen. It builds practical tools and explanatory resources around public information.
What we publish
Our current editorial focus is helping people navigate FDA drug-enforcement and recall records. These records can be technical, change over time, and are easy to misread without the product identifiers and context contained in the original notice.
We aim to make that information easier to use while staying clear about its limits. Articles link readers back to authoritative records, separate verified facts from explanation, and avoid treating a database match as proof that a specific package of medicine is affected.
Who is behind the site
Stu is an independent developer who enjoys building useful software and documenting what he learns. He is responsible for Artifact4U’s product and editorial direction.
Current editorial scope
During the current publishing phase, the indexed blog is limited to FDA and openFDA recall-record guides. Historical technology notes remain available in the Technology Archive but are not presented as current, maintained guidance and are excluded from search indexing.
