Stu Chen is the developer and editor responsible for Artifact4U. His work on this site focuses on software engineering, public-data processing, and making technical government records easier to inspect.
Relevant experience
Stu designs and maintains the ingestion, normalization, search, and publishing code behind the Artifact4U Recall Checker. That work includes reading openFDA enforcement records, preserving source identifiers and update timestamps, checking generated output, and documenting the limits of the underlying datasets.
He is not a physician, pharmacist, or FDA representative. Artifact4U does not diagnose medical conditions or decide whether a reader’s product is affected. Medical and product-specific decisions remain with the official notice, manufacturer, pharmacist, clinician, or regulator.
Editorial responsibilities
Stu selects article questions, reviews primary sources, runs the examples, checks links and identifiers, and approves updates before publication. Automation may help retrieve records or identify changes, but generated text and database output are not treated as evidence by themselves.
